What Are You Most Proud Of in Your Life?

What Are You Most Proud Of in Your Life?

It’s a question that can catch you off guard: “What are you most proud of in your life?”

For a long time, I would pause before answering. Not because I didn’t have anything to be proud of, but because pride, for me, isn’t about a single moment — it’s about a journey.

One of the biggest milestones I hold close to my heart is publishing my book, Get Grounded: Your Compass Through Transitions and Growth. This book wasn’t just a project; it was a reflection of my own evolution. It was born out of seasons of change — moments when I felt uprooted, stretched, and called to grow in ways I didn’t expect.

I grew up in Los Angeles, surrounded by family, community, and familiarity. Then I took a leap and moved to New York City, a place that challenged me to expand my perspectives and stand on my own. Later, I made another transition to Denver, where I found space to breathe, reflect, and truly ground myself. Each city marked a chapter of transformation — shaping my resilience, clarity, and self-trust.

But beyond physical moves, I’m deeply proud of the internal moves I’ve made. One of the most meaningful has been setting boundaries with friends and family. This wasn’t easy. Like many of us, I was raised to value connection, harmony, and loyalty — sometimes at the expense of my own peace. Learning to say “no,” to choose rest over pleasing, and to prioritize my well-being has been one of the most empowering acts of self-love.

Publishing my book symbolizes this entire journey. It’s not just about the words on the page; it’s about standing firmly in who I’ve become. I’m proud of honoring my voice, trusting my path, and creating something that can help others navigate their own transitions.

So when I think about what I’m most proud of, it’s this:
🌱 Choosing growth, even when it was uncomfortable.
✍️ Sharing my story through Get Grounded.
🛑 Protecting my peace by setting boundaries.

Pride doesn’t have to be loud. Sometimes, it’s found in the quiet moments of courage, when you decide to keep showing up for yourself.

What are you most proud of?
